Toyota, Chevrolet boast quickest class times at 24 Hours of Le Mans Test Day | Autoweek
Toyota went faster on Sunday than last year’s pole position time for the 24 Hours of Le Mans as it dominated the official Test Day for the French enduro later this month.
Kamui Kobayashi ended up fastest with a time of 3 minutes, 18.132 seconds aboard the No. 7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, which was more than a second and a half up on Neel Jani’s 2016 pole time for Porsche. The Japanese driver driver jumped to the top of the timesheets with a 3:18.319 lap shortly after the test resumed after lunch and then improved by two tenths during his run.
